What Illinois requires.
Security work in Illinois is licensed. To work unarmed, you need a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC). To work armed, you also need a valid FOID card and you must meet the state firearm qualification and training requirements. If you are early in that process, tell us where you stand; we are glad to talk with strong candidates who are working toward their credentials.
